Da for Daddy | |||||||||||||||||

All of us are "throw-backs" because we are forever wanting to return home to places, persons or to our selves. It's a universal urge that we all act out daily. The strongest of these urges is the SOUL URGE, the urge to express what resides in our home of homes, our very soul. The Irish are eternally longing for that magical place and they act it out in every dance step, song, poem and story. "Da" will be moving in soon. He loves visitors. Won't you drop by? Da had decided to move in on Monday, The Winter Solstice. I asked him why and he said,"It's the day the sun comes back to us and warms up our lives. Why not start something new and be in tune with Nature. On the Solstice Nature makes it's turn around into a new cycle of growth. The growth is out of our sight at this point but non-the-less it's really the first stage of Spring. We never really enter fully into the darkness of Winter because the cycles of light and darkness have the mercy of change: Change that keeps us in the dying and birthing of ourselves. As my old teacher, said before he passed away, "a good B.M. makes a saint". To empty ourselves of old ideas and to see the world with non-prejudiced eyes is indeed the vision of a saint. To see and not judge the wonder is a child's view of the world. This is the season of the child. The celebration of birthing. So, have a might good B.M.! Even goodness needs to be recycled! Nothing remains as it was. That's the point Jesus made when he made it clear that there were better than he to follow. We are always in the healing mode if we are one with the cycles of nature. There is a time to be sick (less light, restoration and rooting) and a time to be robust (more light and healthier roots to support our flowering)." Da has declared The Winter Solstice as his New Year. Come by and celebrate!

Waking up in the morning brings the task of unloading dreams and the stories from the night time visit with my soul. If I were not to write them down the "less-of-me" journies through the day. You see, my dreams and nocturnal wisdoms shape me and make me who I am and who I can be. Unless I remind myself of where I have been and what I have seen the night before I don't stand a chance to be the magical human I was born to be. If I don't bring my magic into the world in the morning then "his-honoable-self-himself" remains invisible and the sense of self is at the mercy of the day. Stop by again. Sincerely, "His-honorable-self-himself"
Billy's Boy | |||||||||||||||||
|
Billy is shy, indeed he is. He learned that long before I began raising him. Until he gets to know you he won't come out to say hello, yet I'd love to tell you about my "Billy Boy". Through his story you may learn something about raising the most special child in your world, yourself. We'll be moving in soon. Do come by. Sincerely, Billy's Da
